Rare breed

The Suzuki Madura GV1200GL or GV700GL muscle bikes have become a rare site these days.

Built from 1985 to 1986 it has a V-four like it’s rivals the Yamaha V-Max, Honda Magna. There are only 5099 Maduras produced. We like the Madura and it’s its rival muscle V-four brothers.

We should also mention here the outsider, a  non V-four,  the Kawasaki ZL900 which was also on caparison in 1986. See the article in  “Cycle Magazine – Power Cruisers: The New Breed – Jan. 1986“.

Keep them running…

We still drive the Madura bikes and do all maintenance on them. We also have quite some knowledge on the Kawasaki Eliminators such as the seldom seen ZL1000.

Most Madura ralated sites are static these days or the forums are not maintained any more. We however keep the spirits up and if you have a Madura or want to know more about muscle bikes, this is the place to be.
