Following up on our previous theory of why Season 2 DLC characters for Street Fighter 6 may be coming from Street Fighter 4, today we're examining Street Fighter 3 for its potential to be the basis of SF6 Season 3's DLC characters in 2025.
Street Fighter 3 is one of the most controversial games in the entire franchise, because Capcom brought in 15 newcomers to the series, and left quite a few of the most popular characters on the cutting room floor, like Guile and Dhalsim.

One of the things we certainly missed out on during the Covid era of tournaments were the pop offs on the big stage, and this might have been the biggest of the year so far.
At the start of Super Smash Bros. Melee top 8 at Get On My Level X, Liquid|Hungrybox, who's been known to pop off now and again, absolutely went off on stage.
Late last night, Maximilian Dood announced on X (formerly known as Twitter) that Capcom had provided him with early access to Akuma in Street Fighter 6. As such, Maximilian Dood has spent a lot of time exploring Akuma during his recent stream.
At one point, a particularly nasty combo was shown off. It turns out that Akuma can link from a raw heavy Adamant Flame if it hits as a punish counter in the corner. This might seem impractical, but the way that Akuma weaves backwards before thrusting forward with incredible reach means that this could actually happen in a real match.
We're just three days away from the release of Akuma and the Season 2 balance update for Street Fighter 6. Of course, the Gokuento stage, Akuma's home stage in Street Fighter 6, will also be available for download.
During the gameplay debut trailer, a giant stone head is sent flying towards the player avatar. Following this, we can see him standing on top of a headless statue, which causes the player avatar to begin shaking uncontrollably.

Mileena made her debut video game appearance in Mortal Kombat 2 back when it was released in the arcades on November 1993. It would later be released on the Sega Genesis on September 9, 1994 in North America.
Though Mileena was created as a clone of Kitana with the added infusion of Tarkatan blood, she proved to be superior to her "sister" with their first appearances. Many agree that Mileena is the strongest character in Mortal Kombat 2 due to how her Ball Roll and Teleport Drop specials function.
It's been over seven years since the Nintendo Switch was released back on March 3, 2017. Since then, the Nintendo Switch has accrued over 141 million sales worldwide, establishing itself as the third best-selling console after the PlayStation 2 and Nintendo DS.
Unfortunately, it seems that Nintendo isn't quite ready to release details about the Nintendo Switch successor just yet, though we're notably getting closer. Earlier this month, Nintendo President Shuntaro Furukawa told fans that they'll make an announcement about their next console within this fiscal year, but we shouldn't expect this announcement to occur during the next Nintendo Direct that is to be held in June.
Rashid's level 2 super in Street Fighter 6 is good. Really good. The massive tornado he throws out when activating this super moves slowly, lingers on screen for a long time, deals multiple hits, and buffs several of Rashid's moves and movement options.
It can and is frequently used for all kinds of tricky set ups, but hey, sometimes Rashid players mess up too and drop their mix up... Well, that's what this wild Street Fighter 6 clip looks like it's portraying at first, but in reality, what we have is an absolute galaxy brain set up that may or may not have been intended.
